Providing fun and engaging educational needs support is our priority. We are always coming up with new and exciting ways in which we can engage children in our centre, by incorporating fun learning experiences. Here are some of our favourites!
The Critter Hotel
One sunny afternoon we decided to build a critter hotel using wood, pine cones, cardboard, and straw. Our learners loved getting their hands dirty, experimenting, and learning about different types of insects. They were excited to see who moves into the critter hotel!
We bought a little oven for our Inspired Learners centre to start baking with our learners. This messy and yummy morning was a success, with smiles all around!
Calming Crafts & Easter Goodies
Our learners enjoyed creating bracelets and necklaces during our Easter provision.
We also made some delicious easter treats.
We love therapeutic art activities. It really helps to unwind and focus while we talk about everything with our learners. Below is an example of one completed by one of our learners during our virtual session.
Move Your Body
A bit of physical activity at the Centre! We talked about the effects of exercise on the body, took our heart rates before and after and talked about why the changes happened. Our learner set up the circuit independently and really put us through our paces!
